F.W. Sims is a HVAC mechanical contractor primarily doing work in the 5 boroughs of NYC and Long Island. We are proud to have been building New York City since 1976.

F.W. Sims is seeking a full-time BIM Engineer to join our team. The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to a variety of high profile jobs. As a BIM Engineer you will be responsible for producing 3D models using Revit, coordinating with construction teams using Navisworks, submitting shop drawings and coordinating fabrication with our shop.

The ideal candidate will have:

- An innate drive and thirst for learning.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as Revit, NavisWorks, etc.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
